Happy Spring, from Teach for Wellness! 

Flowers are starting to bloom, temperatures are rising, April break is approaching, and there is a general buzz of energy in the air. 


We’ve reached the final few months of the school year, and with the push to summer upon us, it can be hard to maintain momentum with students. Check out this month’s resources to help you and your students keep morale high this spring.

People Can Change: Recognizing Our Potential for Growth
    • Are you noticing more conflicts in your classroom? Are your students bickering more as the year goes on? Try this 45-minute lesson on growth mindset to help remind your students that people, just like mindsets, can grow and change. 

It’s OK to play: How ‘play theory’ can revitalize US education
        If you’re gazing longingly outside your classroom window and students are begging to go outside on those warm days, read this article to learn more about the value of play in education

Do you work with high schoolers who are eager to create change around mental health in their schools? Consider sending students to the Empowering Youth Voices Youth Summit on May 3rd in Danvers, MA.
