About Us

Teach for Wellness is an expert-led community of curious educators building resilient and healthy classrooms. Through free webinars with mental health leaders, a wellness newsletter with easy-to-implement strategies, and an extensive online resource library, Teach for Wellness gives educators tools and support to help students thrive.

In our work with educators across Massachusetts, we have heard consistent themes: Students in every classroom and community are facing increased mental health challenges, leading to heightened burdens on educators as first responders. We created this collaborative community as a convening space for educators and mental health experts to learn and share effective, plug-and-play practices that promote brain health and resilience.

Teach for Wellness is created and managed by the Massachusetts General Hospital Department of Psychiatry – Division of Psychology, the Massachusetts School Mental Health Consortium, and the Shah Family Foundation.
