Student Self-Care: In School and Out

Learning how to care for our minds and bodies is important at every age. We can support students both in school and out of school by talking about how we can practice self-care and taking time out of the day to look after ourselves.

Tip of the Month

Self-care does not have to be time consuming for it to make a difference in your life. Carve out time each day to practice small acts of self-care such as a 10 minute standing yoga session with your students, or a mindful walk when you have a few free moments in your day.

It can be difficult to accomplish everything you need to in one day - let alone make time for yourself. Block off time in your calendar as you would a meeting or appointment to help prioritize your own self-care to help you feel and be at your best!
